K9 Nosework Classes Starting 2014
K9 Nosework Class
K9 Nosework is a fun search and scenting activity for any dog regardless of breed, age or size. This class is an easy to learn activity for you and your dog. We start out using boxes and proceed to more complicated searches of entire rooms, exterior areas, vehicles and containers. This new sport is extremely popular and all the dogs love it!
Your dog will learn to use his or her most powerful tool (their nose) more effectively to find the hidden odors. Along the way they build confidence, become more focused, burn off mental and physical energy and learn how to communicate with you more effectively.
The instructor, Cheryle Homuth, is a Certified Canine Behavior Consultant and has completed the instructor’s course for K9 Nosework from the National Association of Canine Scent Work (NACSW). She and her dog have completed their Nosework 1 and Nosework 2 titles and are currently working on skills to obtain their Nosework 3 title.
